Joining in the exciting and joyful atmosphere to welcome new students in the opening season, to strengthen their confidence in taking their first steps in the lecture hall to be confident and steadfast in their chosen major, the Faculty of Economics – Luat organized an online exchange on MS Teams between new students of the 2022 class and guests from businesses at 6:00 p.m. on December 28, 2022.

Opening the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Duc Loan - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics - Law introduced the attending guests including: Mr. Trinh Dinh Cuong - Director of Rong Viet Tax Accounting and Finance Services Company Limited, Vice Chairman of the Young Businessmen Association of BTVT province, Chairman of Vung Tau City Businessmen's Association; Mr. Do Thanh Trung - Lawyer, Director of New Key Law Firm; Mr. Le The Dat - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Support Team for taxpayers - registration - other collection, Phu My Town Tax Department, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Tax Department; Mr. Duong Huu Hieu - Deputy General Director, Long Huong Investment Joint Stock Company (Mesa Group); Mr. To Minh Ha - Head of Production Department, Sugar Mix Factory, CJ Foods Vung Tau; Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh - General Director, AACS Auditing Company Limited; with the participation of faculty members and nearly 300 new students of the class of 2022.

Part 1 begins with a presentation by the guests. Mr. Le The Dat introduced the tax field, the qualities of people working in the tax field as well as shared the path to career success. Mr. Dat advised students to regularly read tax documents to update the latest tax regulations to apply to their work.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Manh also shared with accounting students about the journey he took after graduating and opening an auditing company, as well as the factors that help students succeed in the field of accounting and auditing. as the knowledge that students need to be equipped with to be able to work well in this field.

When sharing with students, especially students majoring in Business Administration and Marketing, Mr. To Minh Ha emphasized that students need to understand the financial statements of businesses such as balance sheets, business performance reports, etc. especially need to grasp the principles of the cash flow table to understand the cash flow and turnover of the business. Mr. Ha shared that after graduating, he worked as a production business manager at the factory and is currently studying for a Master's degree in business administration at Ba Ria - Vung Tau University. He advised students to determine their goals and understand the needs of businesses so they can have many good work opportunities in the current labor market.

Coming to the exchange session with students, the students were very excited to ask many questions to the speakers. The atmosphere was very exciting, and the guests were very enthusiastic in answering students' questions.

A very interesting question from a student majoring in Business Administration to Mr. Duong Huu Hieu with the content is "You are managing a lot of personnel, what should you do to manage so many employees well?" and is the field of corporate governance broad? Mr. Hieu shared that human resource management is our ability to read the people we use. Honesty is the top priority. First, we have to work or become self-employed to know how to operate so that we can have eyes to observe, so we should accumulate experience such as being able to open our own store,... to have a collision with reality. .

Perhaps reading and remembering a lot of documents will be a concern for many Law students. Therefore, a student asked Lawyer Do Thanh Trung: "I really like the law profession but it has too many documents, so I would like to ask if there are any tips to remember the documents?". Mr. Trung shared with the students that before going to trial, we must research first, find legal documents that regulate that field, and grasp the basic content of the law. where to go, not reading every sentence and every word. In addition, for criminal trials, we prepare arguments to see if there has been a violation or not. For civil cases, we must prepare in advance depending on each specific case. In reading and understanding text skills, you must look up which branch of law it is governed by.
